Here’s a collection of blogs I try to read regularly. In no particular order:
- Skeptophilia by Gordon Bonnet
- He usually posts every day except Sundays, and mostly about skepticism/science/critical thinking. He also posts to Tales of Whoa once or twice a month.
- S.J. Cairns by Sami-Jo Cairns
- She posts regularly about a wide variety of topics ranging from her adorable pugs to book reviews to whatever happens to strike her fancy.
- dSavannah Rambles by D. Savannah George
- A blog about words, life, sad things, happy things, inspiration, reviews. She hasn’t posted much lately but is trying to post more often.
- Chazz Writes, All That Chazz by Robert Chazz Chute
- Every other day (or more) blog about the business of writing and publishing; a weekly podcast about a variety of news, politics, nonsense and his fiction; also, podcast interviews once a week with cool people including authors, actors, directors, and someday, Fonzi.
- Supervillain on a Leash by A.J. Aalto
- She’d like to blog once a week but it’s more like once a month at the moment. It’s mostly about goofiness, writing, science, sex, or all of the above at once.
- Sweettea with K.D. by K.D. McCrite
- She posts on a variety of topics a couple times a month.
- The Arcana Chronicles by R.B. Wood
- Home of the Word Count Podcast, a free broadcast by writers for writers. Simply put, a theme for each show is announced via this site, Twitter and Facebook and writers are given a week or two to write AND RECORD their stories based on said theme.
Long time reader, first time commenter — so, thought I’d drop a comment..
— and at the same time ask for a favor.
Your wordpress site is very simplistic – hope you don’t mind me asking
what theme you’re using? (and don’t mind if I steal
it? :P)
I just launched my small businesses site –also built in wordpress
like yours– but the theme slows (!) the site down quite a bit.
In case you have a minute, you can find it by searching for “royal cbd” on Google (would appreciate
any feedback)
Keep up the good work– and take care of yourself during the coronavirus scare!
~Justin
The theme I’m using is Twenty Twelve made by the WordPress team. It was very easy to set up and customize.
